External Learning Tracking
The External Learning feature will enable learners to self-record completion of a course, or achievement of a qualification/license they have attained outside of the Litmos LMS.
The External Learning feature can be turned on or off via Account Settings > Features > External Learning.
Learners can create an External Learning Record via the Achievements page.
Click the button to Add new External Learning Record.
This will allow learners to self- record a personal or external learning achievement and proof without needing any marking or validation from an administrator
Learners can specify:
- Qualification/License or Course Name
- Certificate (Default)
- External training
- Professional Development
- Workshop /Conference
- Date achieved
- Certificate/License Number
- Expiration date
- Evidence of achieving the External Learning
This information will then be saved and listed in the External Learning section.
Learners will be able to add, edit and delete their External Learning via the External Learning Tab.
Select the Course/License Name to view the record.
The pencil icon will allow you to edit your External Learning.
The Cross icon is used to delete records.
Administrators will be able to view External Learning added by Learners via their User Profile under the People menu.
Click on the Course/License name to view the details of any External Learning Record.
To edit an existing External Learning record, click on the pencil icon and update the details as required.
To add a new External Learning record on behalf of a learner, click Add a new external learning Record.
Complete the details as required and submit.
